Brody's Baptism

Baptism days are the best days! The whole day was perfect! Brody was so excited and happy. He was elated to have so many of his cousins here! It was incredible having both sets of grandparents to celebrate with! He was flying high the whole day! I was so proud of him. I was so happy that Travis could baptize him. And I was so grateful to everyone for all did to help make the day so special!
The program was awesome! Brody asked the Grandpas to give the opening and closing prayer. He asked Courtney to sing "I know that My Redeemer Lives." He asked Christie Pratt to give the talk on Baptism. Travis baptized him. Then Grandma LeDuc gave the talk on the Holy Ghost, and then Travis confirmed him. Grandma Hall lead the music for the closing song, "I Am A Child of God." I really appreciate every one for making the program so perfect!

I loved it when my Mom asked him during her talk if he knew what special gift he was going to get that day and he said," A treasure chest!" (My mom had made him a little box that had things in it to remind him about the Holy Ghost. He was really excited to get it. Also, he was really excited to get his picture taken with his girlfriend. Wow! After the baptism, we went back to the house and had some dinner. It was so much fun talking to friends and family and watching the kids enjoy each other.

Thank you all for coming and being here for such an important event! We love you all!

Swimming Before Brody's Baptism

On the morning of Brody 's baptism, he wanted to go swimming at Grandma LeDuc's with all his cousins. They all had a blast together!

Charli's first day of Pre-school

Charli has been anxiously awaiting the day that she would get to go to pre-school. She has known her teacher since she was a baby, and couldn't understand why she couldn't go when Trey and Brody went. It was finally her turn! You can see how excited she is.

Her teacher has taught all her brothers and sisters. She is like part of the family! We love her!

When we got there Charli told me that she got to stay, and I needed to go. Before when we took her brothers, she would only get to play for a few minutes, and then we would have to leave. She was so excited that it was her turn to stay.

Here she is with two of her great buddies!

Here's the whole class.

Bike wreck

What a way to end a birthday! We had a great time at the zoo, then that night he went outside to ride his bike, and BAM! Crash! Luckily, by the next morning he said his scrapes and bruises made him look tough-like Indiana Jones! He wanted me to e-mail this picture to his girlfriend so she could see how tough he was!

Zoo

We celebrated Brody's birthday & TJ's birthday by going to the zoo. It was great being together! Here's a picture of Brody looking "scared" in front of the Komodo Dragon.

Alyssa liked saying "Hi" and "Bye" to the animals.

TJ didn't mind me taking this picture.

Brody's awesome week!

First, Brody started the week by going to Cub Scouts! He was so excited! He has been waiting a long time for it! I wish that I could be his leader. Cub scouts is so much fun!

Then we had his party a couple of days later. He wanted to have an Indiana Jones party. So, the kids ate Monkey brains, drank blood, dug for gold coins, shot at totem poles, whipped cups & smashed snakes. It was tons of fun!

We ate hot dogs & chips.

Had a tug-of-war.
